There are two routes to take here guys!

A. You wanna rock out and pick up some fabulous girls.
You gotta pick songs that most people know lyrics to. Pick songs that are trending on the radio.
B. You want to actually enjoy GOOD music (in my opinion Smiley)
I suggest CCR (Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, etc), Van Halen, Any 90's country artist, Beastie Boys, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, any old school jams.

For those people who love Electronica music: Zomboy, Feed Me (my favorite), Knife Party, Lindsey Stirling (classical+electronica combined), Madeon (super upbeat happy music, I love it), Kill the Noise.

I love Pink Floyd. I have all their albums. I mostly wear Pink Floyd t-shirts. I have over 30. I don't throw them away. I keep them to on day make a giant quilt from them. That being said I just can't see Pink Floyd on the river. There are a few song off of The Wall perhaps but most of their music is meant to be listened to as an album not as singles. No one wants to float to Shine On YouCrazy Diamond.

Rant over
Carry on

I would love to listen to Pink Floyd on the river for a small trip when it's not crowded. But you do have a point. When the river is packed with people you gotta play party music!

If I took a trip without the family and with a blunt, I would then jam Floyd.

If you're running a PC, easiest way to get a list of the songs you have in any particular directory is to go to a CMD prompt, navigate to the folder your music is in, and type in the following command:

dir *.* > songlist.txt

That will create a file in the directory called Songlist.txt and it will show you all the songs you have in there. Very easy way.

Here's an example:

06/08/2010  06:53 PM           106,496 ADGroupMembers.exe
11/09/2012  03:07 PM            28,331 Blank PO Req Form.xlsx
02/28/2013  03:39 PM           130,772 Capture.JPG
04/19/2013  10:49 AM            29,480 Ken Nance.xlsx
04/24/2013  07:55 AM    <DIR>          Launchpad
04/10/2013  07:44 AM            13,488 New Build Checklist.docx
04/03/2013  07:37 AM           109,795 photo.JPG
04/23/2013  09:30 AM         3,938,816 Richardson_layout.vsd
03/04/2013  06:57 AM            29,769 ShippingForm - UK - Steven.xlsx
04/19/2013  10:42 AM            29,332 ShippingForm.xlsx

It's not super pretty, but it's a really easy way of getting a list.. I would of course, suggest removing date stamps, and file size, but still a very easy way to make a text list of your songs.

Im not sure if this would work in my case, as the music is stored in the application Spotify, but either way, found an easy solution...select all the tracks in said playlist, then drag over to notepad and voila.
