Sup crew!!

 i have been away from the site since last may..  I started drawing up plans and working on the base and ventilation system.. I've got the base and air system done, the frame. all the parts are in. I am trying to find the right wheels.(casters)

should start crimping by monday.. plan is to float the comal for Memorial day weekend Cheesy


heres a few progress pics and a video with the LEDS. (they are not mounted in the vid)

Did you float with this thing?  It looks extremely heavy, much less top heavy.  Not sure carpet was a good idea, it's like a sponge.  I hope you haven a bigger tube in which this thing sits in the middle of, because the pic with the boards going across the tube does not stable.

carpet=marine carpet used for boats.. He floated the whole trip!! I used a bigger tube at the tube place.. i am using 2x10 cedar for the base. they lock into the sides of the bot.. the boards hold it steady in all directions  

(the picture with the flags shows the bigger boards. the one by the pool had regular 2x4s- hence test float.. needed to be upgraded)

I love the idea and thinking outside the box, but it looks like it would be a pain to transport without wheels and the handles on the top (speakers on side would hit your hips when carrying).
