Sorry I know this is not the place to post this but I was thinking it was the best place.

Ok my group of guy have been going to Eminence Mo to float and just hang out for over 20 years and still hope to go this year but after the floods there last weekend I don't think it's going to happen. Most anything we did there is gone I mean down river gone.

So I was hoping you guys could help me out where is there a fun crazy wild place we could go if Eminence doesn't work out.

I'm from the Wichita Ks area its a 6.5 ish hour drive to Eminence so something close to the drive time my group of guy like to have fun I mean a group of guys without the other halves just hanging out drinking floating just a time to unwind and wouldn't have to take a loan out to stay for five days lol. We have been taking 4wheelers for the last 5 yrs it's nice cuz we park the truck and ride them everywhere into town down to the river to the bar at night we are not much of campers need a cabin or a room lol a lot of drinking goes on so sleeping in a tent with that 630 sun coming up just sucks ass lol. SO ANY IDEAS WOULD HELP SINCE WE BEEN GOING THERE FOR SO LONG DON'T KNOW MUCH ABT ANYTHING ELSE did Noel Mo one year it was a blast but they got nailed by the floods also it's for last of July and first of Aug. PLEASE Help

Man, I wish I could help you, but I know absolutely nothing about the rivers in MO.. I can tell you this though, if you get your "google-fu" on, you can come up with gems like this:

and a few others I've chosen to leave out.. But you get the gist.

Sorry to hear about your flooding issues, we have them here in Texas from time to time, making our typical floating rivers unfloatable.

I'm not sure how close Arkansas is for you, but we sometimes float the Caddo river, and it's a great, easy going, relaxed float trip.. Great for kicking bad some suds and listening to music..

Dude, all the rivers in MO are flooded and dangerous as hell.
It's so bad all the front office places are all under water.

Wait till August like us and hopefully it will be gone?
Keep checking here and they'll let ya know when you can come?
